This top of the table clash ended in honours even as both sides cancelled out each other with a very entertaining draw. On a bitterly cold day it was heart-warming to see our lads who are all under 15a step up to the challenge against a big physical team. In a game in which we had more possession of the ball it was refreshing to see Emmanuel Imistogie get the goal for us so with just four mins remaining, this league is still very much alive. Well done lads and also well done to the ref Pat Fitzgerald who had a good game also.

A solid performance from the lads here ensures we remain unbeaten, in a game in which we played some great football. There was plenty of goalmouth action from start to finish.Goalscorers were Sherif, Quique, Evan and Sam. Man of the match goes to Evan Ryan.

This was a decent game considering the strong winds. We were up against a very strong away side who possibly might become league champions. However, our young squad fought with great determination to try and get something from this game which sadly eluded them. On a day of some strong performances from Eddie, Myah, Kennedy, Mia and Jamie, the outstanding player for us today was Emily who was immense. Well done to this young girl who never misses training and also happens to be a nice kid as well.

12A Dungarven 2 Southend 1.

We travelled to unbeaten league leaders Dungarvan who played some excellent football and were a very well organised maybe a draw might have been a more fairer result here but it wasn’t to be .We started very slowly and went a goal behind early on after some very sloppy play but we got back on terms through a great effort from Mohammad after some good work from Adam Dobbyn Tommy and Alan .We fell behind for the 2nd time from a free kick outside our box but credit to our lads they picked themselves up again and fought for every ball until the final whistle Both teams were evenly matched and there wasn’t much goalmouth action but the lads can take credit for the way they played today and they will learn a lot from this defeat. Hard again to pick a player of the game but Mohammad was outstanding in midfield once again
