12 A Carrick 1 Southend 1

A tale of two halves for the lads in which the wind played a major part .We took the lead after a great through ball by Tommy Mullally in midfield to Adam Dobbyn and Adam made no mistake with a brilliant first time shot into the bottom corner. We hit the crossbar in the second half from a good header from Muhammad but we just couldn’t get that second goal. Carrick had one or two chances near the end but Adam Hearne made a couple of good saves but from a corner with six minutes to go we fell asleep and conceded a scrappy goal when we didn’t clear the ball. A point was a fair result in the end as both sides gave it their all in the conditions, Man of the match today goes to Adam Hearne who was great for us on goal.

14A Southend 3 De La Salle 0

Three first half goals was good enough here for us to continue our winning run in this league.Callum Flynn with a brace and a sublime finish from Shane o Sullivan did the business here in a game which was played in windy conditions so well done to both sets of players for getting through this game.
