11 Red Dungarvan v Southend

We played two very good games against Dungarvan on Saturday .There was some lovely football played from both sides, both Eddie and Douglas were outstanding with Gilbert strong on goal for us. We scored some really good team goals by Mikey, Douglas, Wojtek, Nicole and a couple of great finishes from Adam Dobbyn .There was some really good performances all over the pitch today but our players of the game goes to Emily who was terrific in midfield and Adam Dobbyn for he’s very unselfish and all round play and also he’s brilliant strike for one of he’s goals.

13 A Southend 1 Tramore 0

Great battling win against a top side in Tramore. Like last season these two teams will be hoping that they should be there and there about at the business end of the season. The game could have gone went either way or we were lucky in the end that it went our way. It took us half way through the first half to get to grips with our visitors who started the brighter especially in midfield but when we got going it was end to end stuff for the rest of the game. We took the lead half way through second half when a brilliant corner kick by Bojan was knocked in by one of the defenders .Tramore threw everything at us for the rest of the game but we defended heroically from strikers back to Jason. Every player from both teams gave absolutely everything and we look forward to many more battles with Tramore for the rest of the season.

11 Blue Southend v Portlaw

We played a decent side here today with plenty of action in both games. Best for us today were Darragh, Alesha and Wahioo, Thanks to Sam o Hara who was manager for this side against his younger brother’s team, well done to both sets of players for the entertainment

15 A Blue Southend 2 Tramore 0

Another valuable three points for Devs squad as they remain unbeaten. On a day when performances were high it was great to see the team spirit from these young lads, Goals from Sam and Jack keeps the race for honours very much alive. Well done all concerned.

Tangerine Tots

Well done to Dougie and Paddy’s Tangerine Tots who played their 1st matches against a brilliant Johnville squad. There was some lovely football played and brilliant goals from the boys and girls. Thanks to Johnville for coming out to us and to Dougie and Paddy for the time they are putting into the Tangerine Tots.
