11 Red Carrick v Southend

We played two very good games against Carrick. There were lots of goalmouth action in both games and some very good performances especially from the younger lads, Darragh Smith Tom Halligan and Nicole with Karl Homa ,Sebastian and Wojtek performing great for the older players. It was great to see these young players continue to pass the ball and encourage each other throughout the games. Player of the games has to go to Shane Messi Moran with 6 goals and Emily o Reilly scoring twice and playing brilliant on the goal when it was her turn.

U11 Blue Seaview v Southend .We were at the seaside venue for a couple of games for the younger age groups. There were plenty of skills and goalmouth action from both teams with the winner being the game of Football. Yes, the future looks bright with the talent on show. Great performances from Darragh, James, Harry, Issac and Alisha. Thanks to our opposition who are a very friendly club and made every feel welcome on our visit.

Under 13 SFAI Cup Southend 3 Freebooters 1
Great win in the SFAI Cup against a very good side Freebooters side. First half was very even but we took lead through Radeem with a close in finish. Freebooters got a well-deserved equaliser half way through second half and it was game on. We got a second goal through Sean Keane with a great goal from the edge of the box and we wrapped up the win with a goal from Shane with a neat lob over the keeper. That puts us in the fourth round in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to Avril and Anna for the food after game and some of the other parents for helping as well, much appreciated,

15A Southend United V Park Rangers
After our last encounter with our opposition which ended by us winning by the odd goal in nine, it was a completely different outcome here with our lads very much in control from the word go. We played good football and when lost possession were very quick to regain it back, Goals from Bami (2,)Sam Pender 1, Calum Flynn 1(surprise surprise)Sam O’Hara and a hat trick from Anthony. A good day for this team who have maximum points so far. Well done all concerned.
