16 B Southend 1 Tramore 0
Great performance from this squad as they maintain their unbeaten run, but more importantly they have just one game left in the league in which if we win, they could become champions. We started well and confident on the ball and created a number of chances which we failed to convert, however midway through the first half we broke the deadlock when a move involving Ethan, Daniel, and a wonderful header from Bami which was all one touch football landed into the path of Jamie who calmly chipped the keeper from distance. Brilliant team effort from coaches Dev and Tommy, Can’t pick MOTM so Sam, Rhys, Bami Callum have to share it. Well done lads!

12A Villa 1 Southend 2

Very good result for the lads away to a well organised Villa side. After controlling the start of the game we fell behind to Villa’s first attack but credit to the lads they kept their heads up and from a brilliant corner from Adam Dobbyn, Charlie Barden was there to smash home the equaliser. The lads stepped it up again in the second half and we got the winner when Alan Zborowski powered past a few players and struck a lovely shot over the advancing keeper. The lads were brilliant playing some lovely passing football and winning all their battles all over the pitch and fighting for every second ball which was summed up in one fantastic tackle from Wojtek in the second half., Very hard to pick a man of the match in this game after so many good performances from everyone but Alan Zborowski was fantastic today in defence and midfield and took he’s goal brilliantly so he just shades it.
