13 A Southend 5 Villa 0

This fine squad of players became league champions after a comprehensive win against their near rivals. This was football played to a high standard by young kids who through skill, hard work and the will to succeed got their just rewards. Well done to Jason, Ben, Adam, Sean, Radeem, Kalum, Jack, Peter, Calum, Adam, Jimmy, Darragh, Azeez and Charlie, Goals tonight came from Jinky 2 and the blond bomber, Calum, who got a hat trick and put in a dazzling display Well done also to Adam Quelly at the back who put in an excellent performance and indeed this was a night when everything came together for us with excellent displays all over the pitch. Well done to coaches Albert, Colm and Dominic who nurtured this young team into the nice lads that they are today.

12B Villa 1 Southend 3

Good win again here for these young lads, we were unlucky to go in at half time one down but once again the character of this team shone through as they upped their game in the second half. We hit the post and crossbar a number of times before our pressure finally paid off when Wojtek finished off a great move to draw us level. Further goals and goals from Charlie Barden and Mohammad finished out the game for us .We really played some really good football from defence to attack against a bigger home side. Plenty of good performances especially Ben Cahill in defence but Callum just pipped him to Man of the match today with a fine all round display.

15 B Cup Johnville 3 Southend B 2

We sadly bowed out of the cup after a below par performance, with a bare thread squad we bravely stood up to the challenge but to no avail this time. Our goal scorers were Jamie and Emmanuel. Best of luck to Johnville in the next round

12 D Cup Ferrybank C 0 Southend C 1

A priceless strike from striker Daniel Byrne was enough to see us through to the cup final.

We had to defend our lead for much of this game but we managed to hold out and book a place in the final .On a night of some last ditch defending, well done to the likes of Darragh Hickey, Jamie Swift and Brooklyn Lyndsey for holding the fort.

16 A League Southend 2 Bohs 2

16 A Cup Southend 0 Bohs 3

Fixture schedule for this week meant that we faced Bohs for a second and third time in quick succession following up from our league meeting of last week .Goals from Ben and Daniel ensured that we picked up a point in the league game but in the Cup encounter, Bohs ran out deserving winners and indeed only for some inspired goal keeping by Kyle Cooke , the score line could have being higher. Thanks to everyone who helped in what was a tough campaign this season.

Division 4 Cup Final Southend 3 Tramore 2

Super sub Robbie Barrett led by example with a priceless winning goal in this exciting game, other goals from Barry Phelan and Beany .Well done to the management team of Jonathan Sheridan and Barry Phelan for leading us to the double ensuring that we had a good reason for celebration, well ne to Tramore for providing such a tough game also well done to the Legendary Tony(Ma) Walsh who was refereeing his last game in what was a great career.

Clover Tournament

A massive well done to our u9 on reaching the Clover semi-final, losing out on penalties to Dungarvan FC. We could not be prouder of this group of kids who played some great football and scored some magnificent goals. Liam Murphy pulling off save of the tournament in the last minute of the semi-final in what can only be described as an unbelievable save which any keeper would be proud of. Jamie and Harry finished our top scorers both completing hat tricks along the way. Darragh and Douglas in the backline kept us solid throughout. Wesley, Abdul, Omar, Jason ,Sam and Dylan were also outstanding on the day. Well done lads thanks also to Ethan.,Jamie and Dev who helped with the lads, much appreciated.
