A very evenly contest here played in a good manner in which no team deserved to lose probably best sums this game up. Twice we came from behind to get something from this encounter courtesy of a brace from Jack Cox.Best  were Ethan Hayes with two magnificent saves and Jack Twomey, who looked lively when introduced.

Another 3 points for Micks side as they improve with every performance. It was great to see these kids play football with a huge smile on their face despite the horrible conditions. Goals aplenty here with Daniel once again getting a hat trick and Shane and Eoin also on the score sheet, well done to Josh and Kennedy for strong performances at the back

Keep in going lads!

12C Mooncoin 1Southend 1.

Two points lost here rather than a point gained. The lads fell behind against the run of play to a superb strike but as this side has shown in the last few weeks their attitude and effort got them back on level terms with a strike from Charlie Barden after some great work from Wojtek and Karl down the left hand side. With a bit more luck in front of goal they might have got the winner there was some good performances on the day for us through, Josh,Roy, Sebastian and Matt with Charlie Barden picking up another man of the match after another fine goal.

15B Bohs 1 Southend United 4
We were quick off the mark here when we were awarded a penalty after a minute. Tooler stood up to make it 1 nil, our second arrived courtesy of some slick passing in which Jack was on hand to make it 2 nil on the night. We continued to dominate and create chance after chance but failed to capitalize.Second half we conceded early only for Andrew to score and give us a two goal advantage Jack got his second to make it 4 and effectively kill the game. Well done to all of the squad who played their part tonight .Good stuff all round. Thanks to Marc for helping out on the night.

U 9S

The under 9s played a couple of games against a strong Waterford Crystal squad. Great to see the enthusiasm of these young kids as they start to learn what teamwork is all about. Thanks to all the parents and family members of both teams who came along to cheer on these young kids on a miserable rainy afternoon. Well done to all the players for an enjoyable day.
