14A Tramore 0 Southend United 3
After a long break due to bad weather we finally got a run out at the seaside venue. We started very slowly but duly took the lead courtesy of a calm finish from Sam Pender. We went into the break 1 up, the second half saw us up our game and grab the all-important second when Jack Twomey raced down the right wing and crossed for Jamie Hutchinson to volley home just inside the box. Our third came courtesy of Calum Flynn who was rewarded for all the hard work he put in during the game. Well done to all our players who once again showed great determination to keep our unbeaten run intact.

12 D Southend C 2 Ferrybank 1

Hard fought win for Mick’s team brings to an end a successful league campaign which keeps us in contention until the final games are played .Ferrybank were a strong skilful side and it took some heroic defending to keep the visitors at bay at times .We went one down midway through the first half but just before the break , Daniel Byrne got us back level and when the same player breached the visitors defence mid-way through the second half it was game on and in the end we were able to hold on for the points .On a day when everyone plays their part , special mention to Eoin Brosnan , Harry Halligan , Daniel Byrne and Shane Moran for strong performances with Man of the Match award going to Brooklyn Lyndsey for an outstanding display at the heart of our defence.

Michael Wadding RIP

It is with great sadness that we have heard of the passing of the great Bohs stalwart, Michael Wadding .Michael followed in the footsteps of his dad, the great Ben Wadding to play a pivotal role in the development of the Poleberry Club both on and off the pitch. Michael more often than not had the final say in the many of the epic encounters we had with his sides at Premier and Junior Cup Level –may he rest in peace
